Dr. Jiovanne Hughart, co-owner of American Hearing Centers, received her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Hughart's areas of special interest include balance testing and rehabilitation. Married with 2 children, Dr. Hughart enjoys spending time with her family, playing the violin and exercising.


Timothy Winstead, AuD, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Tim Winstead, co-owner of American Hearing Centers received his Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Winstead's areas of special interest include hearing aid technology and tinnitus retraining therapy. Married with two daughters, Dr. Winstead enjoys spending time with his family and playing on several recreational and church league sports teams.


Christi Wiltse, AuD, Doctor of Audiology


Dr. Christi Wiltse received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Wiltse joined American Hearing Centers in 1999 and has a special interest in the area of pediatric audiology. Married with a daughter and a son, Dr. Wiltse currently sees patients in the Stockbridge and Riverdale offices.
Charles W. "Chip" Bering, AuD, Doctor of Audiology


Chip Bering joined the team at American Hearing Centers in 2004. Chip graduated with his Masters in Speech and Hearing in 1969 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.Married with children and several grandchildren, he recently received his Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.Chip has a special interest in hearing aid fitting and technology.
Wendy Montgomery, AuD, Doctor of Audiology


Dr. Wendy Montgomery is a University of Georgia graduate. She has been with American Hearing Centers since 1993.Her areas of special interest include pediatric audiology and cochlear implants. Dr. Montgomery enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. She and her husband act as youth counselors for their church.Dr. Montgomery is a graduate of the Doctor of Audiology program at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Kellie G. Hibbitts, AuD, Doctor of Audiology


Dr. Kellie Hibbitts received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2000 and her doctorate from the University of Florida in 2004. She completed a clinical fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL and went to work as head of audiology at a neurotology practice in Arizona. Dr. Hibbitts joined American Hearing Centers in 2006 and her primary areas of interest are cochlear implants and vestibular studies. In her spare time, Dr. Hibbitts enjoys spending time with her husband and two Shi Tzus, as well as reading and drawing.
